6 JTBFs to South Korea

The production of 6 JTBFs is now complete and they have recently been picked up and have 8000 km ahead of them before they arrive at their destination in South Korea.

Due to the large number of tyres produced and their relatively short lifespan, tyres are a major source of waste. Therefore, the recycling industry has a large market for shredding and reusing the materials contained in a tyre. Tyres consist of approximately 60% rubber, 20% textile and 20% steel and therefore separation and steel cleaning is necessary. This is where these JTBFs will be used, as they will become the first step in the process and "feed" the shredding plant.
